Segway Human Transporter.
Segway joined with Firetide and demonstrated
both the Segway and a live TV feed via Firetide's mesh network.
Firetide set up a 5 node network in our forum
room with a print server, Internet connection, wireless "hotspot",
a live TV camera on the Segway, as well as network points down
the hall past the hotel registration desk.
Dan rode the Segway around the room and down
the hall as we watched the live feed. This demonstrated the usefulness
of the Segway and the flexibility of the Firetide mesh network.
