I'm using two colors of parking stall stripes (and signage) to designate the different area of 2 hr free public parking and monthly parking in the same lot. I'm using Kawasaki green with sparkles in the paint vs. white for monthlies. I had to go to a clear base rather that the traditional highway paint but after 4 months in wet, Washington weather, it is holding up fine. I painted a line across the different parts of the lot so parkers would know they were in a different area. I ran an information campaign as part of the holiday messages to let people know. It's working so far.
