Subject: Ergonomic Reports on Patrol Vehicles Date: 5/16/2017 2:11:18 PM
I'm looking for any information relating to ergonomic reports for patrol vehicles. We are currently finding that our officers are suffering from back, hip, knee and ankle injuries.
We beleive that the cause of this, is due to the ride height and cabin space of the vehicles - our officers exit and enter these vehicles approx. 60+ times a day. Currently we use medium size sedans.

I am of the belief that medium size 4X4 vehicles would help reduce this injury issue.

Does anyone have any reports or documentation on why they selected the vehicles they use for parking and traffic patrol.

Regards....
