NEWS from the International Parking Institute CONTACT: International Parking Institute Announces Resignation Fredericksburg , VA , January 23, 2004 The Board of Directors of the International Parking Institute (IPI), the leading educational, training and trade organization for parking professionals, today announced the resignation of David L. Ivey as president of the organization. The board accepted Mr. Iveys resignation at its meeting in Ft. Lauderdale , FL yesterday. It has been an honor to work with IPI for 25 years, and I take pride in the organizations role in the industry, said Mr. Ivey. Kim E. Jackson, CAPP, vice president of IPI, assumes interim leadership. The board is currently assembling a task force to launch a formal search for a new president.
