DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 24, 2002--At the recent International Parking Institute annual trade show in Toronto, Canada, Clancy Systems International, Inc. (OTCBB: CLSI - News) launched its new PalmType(TM) System. This innovation in PDA computing will allow Clancy clients to have all the benefit of state-of-the-art handheld terminals with both pen-based and keyboard features.
The PalmType(TM) keyboard (a Palm m500 series docks in the device) encompasses a 45-key alpha-numeric keypad with assignable keys, serial connection ports in standard telco format, and provides a protective cover for the PDA.
Beta testing has been completed which demonstrated the durability and flexibility the company was seeking. The company has been able to reduce the weight of the field equipment by more than half. Battery life has increase substantially. The new system operates faster and offers users all the advantages of a PDA device. Rollout to clients is now under way.
