| I would like to know if there is any research on 60 degree angle parking vs 90 degree straight-in parking? Specifically, on safety issues such as backing accidents, hit and run accidents. Which is safer? Which will prevent accidents? We had 90 degree parking, and experienced several backing and hit and run accidents. We resurfaced the parking lot and used 60 degree angle parking and have experienced less accidents. I would appreciate any information that you might share on these questions.
