We here at Royce Daniels have done an entensive survey of the parking industry and have not found any venue that supplies or requires bullet proof vests for parking enforcement officers.
It is our professional opinion that the parking authority should attempt to structure the enforcement jobs to limit the types of exposures that the officers would face such as not requiring the officers to collect meters, etc.
If your venue places your officers in such a light that external safety has become a burning issue, you should provide them the tools that will give them a physical and mental edge - such as bullet proof vests.
